Monday Makeup Favorite - Holiday Glitter Goddess

Christmas is in 2 days!! It's been a while since I have done a Monday Makeup Favorite so I'd thought what better time to get back to posting then now?! Holiday season means tons of glitter and sparkles and one trend that will never die down is sparkly makeup. Whether for your eyes, lips and sometimes even eyebrows adding a touch of glitter is so much more fun and adds a glistening touch! So this season do something fun like  mulit-colored eyeliner or purple glitter lips and if your feeling bold gold sequin brows, SUPER FUN!! XO Andrea

Beauty Buzz (Get The Look) Celebrity Edition- Kim Kardashian's 'Soft Peach' Lips At Belle Noel Jewelry Launch At Bloomingdales In NYC

Happy Monday!! Today's Makeup Favorite is a favorite look of mines from the past from Kim Kardashian. Technically Summer is over but it you can definitely still feel the heat and though fall is coming I really have been into soft peach lips lately. But the one thing I will say if you are wanting to choose this color as a choice, pick something that fits with your skin complexion meaning don't get something too light or too dark... If it doesn't look right keep looking, I'm sure you will find the perfect match! Now back to this tutorial, she was at Bloomingdales in NYC a couple of years ago and her makeup artist Joyce Bonelli (also Nicki Minaj's Makeup Artist) breaks down her complete look for us! Check it out below, XO Andrea! Check out More Beauty Buzz (Get The Look) Celebrity Edition Here!

Get The Look
By Makeup Artist - Joyce Bonelli

1.  I always start Kim off by prepping her skin with Perfect Skin.

2.  I used Photo Finish Primer by SMASHBOX to prep Kim’s skin.

3.  I used Photo Finish Primer by SMASHBOX to prep Kim’s skin.

4.  For this look I used HD Invisible Cover Foundation by Make Up For Ever

5. I use SMASHBOX Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer. *Try blending from the outer corners in to keep concealer from settling in fine lines under the eyes for flawless coverage. The stick form makes it easy to use!

6.  I like to set Kim’s gorgeous skin with HD Powder by Make Up For Ever. *A translucent powder that gives the skin a soft focus on and off camera.

7.  I filled Kim’s brows in with Brow Zing by Benefit. *I always use the lightest shade in brow products for a more natural look.

8.  *EYES* I first applied Multi- Acton Concealer by YSL to the Kim’s eye lids. I first applied Eyeshadow in Polyester Bride by Urban Decay to the entire lid. I then applied Eyeshadow in Gunmetal by Urban Decay to Kim’s upper & lower lash lines and smudged it up to the center of the eyelid and dragged it up from the corners of the eye. I finished the shadow off by blending Eye Shadow in Roach by Urban Decay just above the crease and extended it slightly onto Kim’s nose. Limitless Eyeliner in Onyx by SMASHBOX, is what I used to line the inside of the upper and lower lash line as well as on the water lines. I then applied Liquid Eye Liner by Dior to the top lash line and slightly winged it out. For this look I applied individual lashes to Kim’s upper lash lines and finished them off with Plush Lash Mascara by M.A.C. Cosmetics to make them pop. Remember, to finish off the eye, I curl her lashes using Shu Uemura eyelash curler. For a finishing touch I applied a touch of Eye Shadow in Diamond Lil by Stila to the inner corners of the eyes to give off a bright eyed look.

9.  To give Kim’s cheeks a touch of color I first applied Custom Color Blush in Self Adjusting Coral by Stila to the apples of her cheeks. Just under the apples of her cheeks I applied NARS Bronzer in Casino to the hallows of her cheeks.

10.  Right above the apples of Kim’s cheeks I applied Urbanglow Cream Highlight in Moonshine by Urban Decay to highlight her cheekbones.

11.  To define Kim’s gorgeous lip shape I used The Nude Lip Liner in Fair by SMASHBOX. Rouge Volupte Lipstick in Peach Passion by YSL Beauty is what I used to fill in the lip. I finished her lips with Lip Gloss in Bright Pink by Bobbi Brown to give a glossy coat.

Monday Makeup Favorite - Summer-ize Your Makeup Essentials!

Happy Monday, this article is from Seventeen Magazine's June 2011 Issue and I finally found a print version to show you. I have this exact issue and tried all of these tips above and I can say YES they all work! I really loved the trick of dewy cheeks by combining your favorite powder blush and bio-oil...But I do have to say it can be a bit oily rather than dewy so use very little. Here's just a list to give you the most out of your makeup when trying something new! Check out MORE Makeup Tips & Ticks HERE!! XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - Keep Your Makeup Locked On All Summer Long!

Happy Monday!! We all want out makeup to last all day, and personally I don't use powder as a finisher. It's August and I believe this is the HOTTEST month of all, I really do think Makeup Setting Sprays keep your makeup locked all day even if you have to spritz it on twice during the entire day including when your finished doing you makeup. Since it's summertime, I actually haven't been really wearing any makeup including blush, foundation, concealer or eyeliner, I've been makeup free. Living in Las Vegas I'm used to this heat but I'm ready for the fall time already. Here are a few makeup lasting recommendations if your looking to try any! From L-R ELF Cosmetics's 'Makeup Mist & Set' $5, Model In A Bottle 'Makeup Setting Spray' $19 (HERE)and then a beauty lovers favorite Urban Decay's 'All Nighter Setting Spray' which is $29 (HERE) , Sephora & ULTA actually has  a mini version of the Urban Decay version for $10. Now I have tried both the ELF & Urban Decay makeup setting sprays and honestly I love them both! I do plan on trying the Model in A Bottle one and also Skindinavia one as well. The good thing about these makeup sprays as well is that they have some that appeal to your skin type, Like if you have oily skin like myself Urban Decay & Skindinavia have certain sprays that will help with that! What makeup setting spray do you recommend?! XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - 'Fuschia Fever' Eye Glam

This Monday Makeup Favorite is a look that's just eye catching! I found this eye look about 2 years ago in a Mark magalog and fell in LOVE with it. It is summer time and I know in the hot heat you probably wont want to do a full faced makeup look so why just only play up your eyes and keep everything else to a minimum?! Now in this picture the model has on a highlighter and a gorgeous pink flushed blush but you can definitely play up something different with this look like only doing your eyes and a simple pink lip and just wear a moisturizer instead of foundation or a BB cream, bronzer or blush! My two favorite colors are a great combo for the season as well (purple & pink).. So here is just a little eye inspiration when trying to find a new look for either day or a night out. XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - Colored Mascara For Spring Is FUN!

For the spring and summer time it's obviously all about 'COLOR' and that goes for your makeup as well. One trend that I really LOVE is 'Colored Mascara'. It brings intensity to your eyes but also shows your fun side as well. You can also use it to play up your look for day and/or night. Have a wonderful Monday. XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - NUDE Nails!

What a wonderful Monday & Happy Memorial Day! Last week , I lacked on blogging badly and I'm going to try my hardest to stay up to date.... Back to favorites for today, I'm so loving NUDE NAILS. Since it is spring time, I know that color is the 'it' trend in, but it's something about this color that feels clean and chic to me. My favorite Nude nail polish of the moment is by Wet N' Wild and it's called 'Private Viewing', it's a nudish-slight peach color that is GORGEOUS and is $3 or $4 at Walgreen's/CVS. What nail color are you loving at the moment?!! XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - Moisturizer Picks For 'Oily Skin'

Happy Monday!!! I cant believe May is almost here....... well basically this week but anyways time for some more beauty talk, probably the most important info you need to know if you have skin problems. For this week, I decided to give my recommendations for all my girls and even guys with 'Oily Skin'. I know that it's sometimes hard to find that perfect moisturizer and now that spring is here with summer following along you would want to prep your skin for the season and the best things about these 3 moisturizers is that they have SPF so no need to go out and get sunscreen because it's already mixed into it. What are some of your best picks for moisturizers that are best for oily skin, I'd love to know. XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - Gucci Westman's Revlon 'Baby Sticks'

I hope everyone is having a great Monday!! I'm really busy now but I wanted to share a new beauty product with you all that is from Revlon's line. Their makeup artist Gucci Westman who is hands down amazing, has created another line for the brand titled ' The Pacific Coast Spring 2013 Collection'. The collection also features some eyeshadow sets as well as some lip products too, but what caught my eye were these little baby sticks. Each color has 0.1 ounces of product, which is a small amount and I imagine that these give off sheer color to your lips and cheeks. The three shades are Pink Passion,  Sunset and Tahitian and will cost you about $9 at your local drugstore. Now from some reviews I' hearing this particular product isn't so good, so I will be buying these and reviewing them myself to give you my honest opinion. Have a wonderful Day. Monday Makeup Favorite - Crystalized Eye Gems (4th Favorite Spring Beauty Trend)

Hello and Happy Monday! This is the start of a new week and I hope you all are having an amazing afternoon. I'm sorry I didn't post last week's Monday Makeup Favorite but as I always say I try my best to post every week if not every other day and I also want tho thank each and every one of my supportive loves that come to my site everyday. If I could give you all gitter kisses I would :) it means a lot to me! But back to today's Makeup Favorite I find it beyond glamorous and bold when completing your eyeshadow look with crystals/and or gems. As seen in the picture above done by the lovely Pat McGrath who is the P&G Global Creative Director that created “techno butterflies" at the Dior show and she talks about this look.  The main focus of the look was the eyes by applying base coats of fuschia, orange, violet, blue or green squared off on the eyelids.  The eyes were then embellished with swarsovski crystals along the lash line and scattered across the eyelid for a bold look.  Lashes, brows, lips and skin were kept minimal to allow the eyes to stand out.

Monday Makeup Favorite - Colorful Waterline Eyeliner (3rd Favorite Spring Beauty Trend)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend & Happy Monday! Start of a new week, it feels like this year is going by really quick. In a few weeks it will be April already, it's CRAZY!! So anyways for today's Monday Makeup Favorite, one thing I have always loved not just for this spring/summer season but anytime of the year is Colorful Waterline Eyeliner. This is for everyone from the fairest to my deep girls skin complexion wise but especially for my girls of color. With our skin-tone I think you give off the bold yet glamorous look and it gives your eyes that 'POP' which compliments your skin complexion which I think is beautiful. One of my favorite beauty trends ever. XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - A Bold Coral Lip (2nd Favorite 2013 SpringBeauty Trend)

Kourtney Kardashain knows how to rock a simple look with a bright lip! Coral is always in season and definitely for Spring, weather a bright coral or a deep coral it will compliment your skin complexion which I love. I know that not all colors will work on everyone but CORAL does, so when investing (beauty-wise) get a nice creamy, glossy coral lipstick and if you prefer to go matte either way you need own this color this spring and summer, like this color was meant for you! What do you think of coral lips?! XO Andrea (PS. I just wanted to say I LOVE YOU ALL)

Monday Makeup Favorite - Electric Shocking Blue Eyes (My 1st 2013 Spring Beauty Trend)

Happy Sexy Monday! I Love this picture of Eve, she looks gorgeous and her makeup was to die-for, I believe she was on set for one of her music videos but don't quote me (I could be wrong). One of my spring beauty trends for 2013 will be color and this electric blue definitely pops! I don't really go neutral with eyeshadow as much as I use to a couple years ago, now simple deep black eyeliner and flowing lashes will do just right for me but for this spring/summer I'm going to experiment with color. You never know what will work and what won't work unless you try it, so why not just have fun and play around. This look to me is even more flawless because of the toned-down yet glowy pink with a little bit of highlighter and oh yes, the classic peachy-nude lips. LOVE! What are some of your Spring/Summer beauty trends for this year?! XO Andrea

Monday Makeup Favorite - Cleansing and Moisturizing 101

Hello Honey's :). So before this post I did a 3 post post for my Favorite Fashion Week Shows I loved including DVF, & Badgley Mischka. Also check out my post I did for the Vanity Fair Oscar Party Fashion Favs. But it's Monday and as usual I do my best to post my favorite Monday Makeup Favorites Secret, Tips and Tricks to maintain healthy skin and favorite makeup looks and seasonal beauty tricks. I think the first step of all is Cleansing and Moisturizing. You need to have clean skin that way you don't have clogged dirt and oil that will eventually cause buildup and acne on your skin, and I'm not just talking about your face but your entire body. Since the spring time is arousing you should get a moisturizer with at least an SPF of 15 especially if you aren't a big fan of sunscreen like me. Actually I use it everyday year around and for cleansers it just depends on your skin type as in oily, dry or combination and you can get those at drugstores and the same goes for the moisturizers. What are your daily cleansing/moisturizing routine items that you use?! XO Andrea
