Hopefully tonight I can head over there to get a whiff of this sensual yet empowering fragrance, I have also seen that this scent is along the lines of her other parfum PULSE and if that's true then I'll love this even more! Beauty Review - REVLON'S PHOTO READY FOUNDATION

It's been a while since I've posted a beauty review and I want to stop that so every so often I will do my best more and more reviews on tons of beauty products that I have in my collection. I love makeup so doing reviews are fun, this could also be helpful to those who are considering getting this product or who just want to hear my personal opinion on the product. Today I am reviewing the Revlon 'Photo Ready' Foundation, I bought two shades 010 Carmel & 011 Cappuccino. Check out my review below, XO Andrea

REVIEW:

 *Revlon's States - For poreless, airbrushed skin in any light

 *My Overall Opinion - I bought these two last year in December and never used them so yesterday when I went to work I decided to test these two out. I ended up having to mix the two because Carmel was too light and then Cappuccino had a dark yet slight orange tint to it so I said whatever I'll just see you know and test them out. I do not like this foundation at all, I always prep my skin with a moisturizer and a setting spray anytime I put on foundation and in this case after prepping, you could visibly see some of my pores. I noticed that this foundation also has a tint of shimmer in it which I thought was okay but it appeared almost cakey as if I put on powder after applying the foundation and in my book that's a no-no. Now Revlon states this gives off an 'airbrushed' finished and I didn't get that effect neither did I see my a glow on my face after wearing this product for an hour.Being that my skin tone is darker I also noticed the color shade is off when it comes to the darker shades but that's just my opinion. What I do like about this foundation however is that it's liquid and it has a pump. The pump actually gives you a dime size amount which to me is perfect, just enough! This product is also SPF 20 and being that it's 1. FL OZ, you get a nice amount of product. Personally, this product didn't cut it for me and I don't ever plan to purchase this foundation again. Monday Makeup Favorite - Get Beyoncé's 'Billboard Woman Of The Year Event' Look Using NARS Cosmetics By Jackie Gomez

 

Beyoncé looks just as amazing as she did here in these photos 5 years ago at the Billboard's "Woman of the Year Award" at Billboard's 4th Annual Women In Music Event in NYC (2009). Her makeup artist at the time Jackie Gomez used all NARS products, from the eyes face and lips and below I will list each item for you. Now if you love Beyoncé like I do, you'd know she normally doesn't wear makeup a lot. So I said weeks ago I would do a "Top 12 Beauty Products" Post for the end of the year which I am late but I am finally going to show you my favorites today. I choose everything from of course makeup to perfumes and moisturizers. I hope you enjoy this post XO Andrea

1. Smith's Lip Balm in Strawberry, its very moisturizing and I think better than chapstick and blistex and the packaging is cute too which is a plus. Sephora $7

2. Wet n' Wild's Mega Last Nailcolor, by far I think they have a wonderful selection of shades at a very affordable price. Walgreens,$3

3. Revlon Growlucious Mascara in Black is my favorite. No clumps, no drying out my lashes and it gives them extreme length. Drugstores $8

4. Buxom Insider Eyeliner, Im obsessed with the color Black Jasper because its the most multi- color sparkliest, black eyeliner I have ever seen. This eyeliner glides on very smoothly but one thing I dont like about this eyeliner is that it smudges easily but I still Love it! Sephora $14

5. EyesLipsFace (ELF) HD Setting Powder, first off this powder is very light and matte which is why I can't live without this powder. I doesnt leave a slight white film and a little does go a long way. Another plus to this product is it's only six dollars!! Target/EyelipsFace.com $6

6. Wet n' Wilds Color Icon Blush is a must-have in any makeup collection. They offer a variety of shades which I like but I also think that the shades look good on any skintone. My favorite to use in the spring-time and summertime is Pearlescent Pink, its a shimmery coral-pink, what's not to love about this blush.?! Walgreens $3

7. Clean and Clear "Morning Glow" Moisturizer, I think the name is self- explanatroy. After using a face wash in the morning I always apply this. It has an SPF of 15 and it oil-free which work for me. Drugstores $6

8. Beyoncé Heat Rush My Spring/Summer Scent! Macys $59

9. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter is the best glossiest moisturizer with color in the world. The two shades I love are Creme Brulee which is a glowing-nude and Strawberry Shortcake a light-pink. Drugstores $7

10. Revlon's PhotoReady Concealer is the best cover-up if you want to hide darkness and circles and redness. But this doesnt completely hide your acne but its still a great concealer. Drugstores $8

11. NewYorkColor (NYC) Brow Pencil is so affordable and works well with my brows. I get my brows threaded so this fills them in perfectly but what I dont like is when you have to re-sharpen it so many times it like it's no use for it anymore but that doesn't matter because the price is great. Drugstores $1

Get Beyoncé's Glowing 20/20 Makeup Look.

Beyoncé sat down with Katie Couric on for her recent interview on  20/20 to talk about her latest career ventures and excitement surrounding her pregnancy. Beyoncé, who is known for her glowy skin, looked as stunning as ever. And it's thanks in part to makeup artist Mally Roncal, who created this look. To get the look:

1. Use concealer to brighten under the eyes and around any areas that need extra help.
2. Use a highlighter and contour powder: the highlighter lifts the face and illuminates the eye area, and the contour powder slims the face.
3. For the eyes, Roncal used the creamy, shimmery shadow from her Mally Beauty My Favorite Things Collection ($60), available starting this Friday on QVC. She then followed with a smudgeproof eyeliner and volumizing mascara.
4. And for glossy, "Beyoncé-worthy lips," Roncal used her High Shine Liquid Lipstick, also from the upcoming collection.

My Spring/Summer Beauty Picks♥ (2012)

These 6 Items are my Top Picks Beauty Wise for this Season.

1. I think the only way to get Healthy Flawless Legs is by using this Sally Hansen Airbrush Leg Spray which is about $12 at Drugstores. This is sure to cover up at least 99% of all scars or any other skin problems you have on your legs.

2. This time around I probably won't be using a tinted moisturizer or foundation. I'll will stick to a Matte Bronzer, I sometimes love bronzers with shimmer but during the spring, summer and sometimes fall time I don't want to walk around with a pure bronzey-shimmery face. This one by NYX is only $9 I believe and gives you a nice Healthy Matte Glow and you can get it at ULTA Stores.

3. Your Skin is something you should take care of all year long. NO MATTER WHAT. So even if you do or don't and you have blackheads or Pimples this Cleanser is something you need to try. This product by Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash which is $6 at Drugstores. This has been proven to clear up skin in just 1 month.

4. You literally need to Moisturize your skin EVERY SINGLE DAY during the year and especially during spring and summer. A Moisturizer that contains SPF is even better that way you have your protection and no need to add extras like sunscreen. Although I do recommend you use SUNSCREEN also this already has that extra touch so no need to. This items is by Clean and Clear and it's the "Morning Glow" Moisturizer that is $6 at Drugstores.

5. You cannot go without a Tinted Lip Balm with SPF this season at all. This one by Fresh which is a Sugar Lip Treatment is $22.50 at Sephora, and they come in a varitey of shades such as Coral, Honey, Plum and Rose. These are slightly tinted with color but is sheer across your lips.


6. Even though all of the items I listed below are main essientials I would be needing a Highlighter is a must for me eveyday of the Year. I like a glowy complexion no matter what and this one by Dior which is expensive at $40 at Sephora will do just fine, but Wet N'Wild has a Idol Eyes Eyeshadow Pencil in the Shade Pixie for $2 and works just as good.
